The Border war commenced in the late 1960s when the South African Defence Force started deploying troops along the South West Africa/Angola Border to counter South West Africa People's Organization's incursions and cross border violations into northern SWA and Owamboland. Cross Border raids by the SADF escalated the conflicts and it developed into a low intensity war with Swapo, the Cubans, the Angola MPLA army and various Soviet entities all involved. This book goes into the personal details and experiences of the Citizen Force and National Service paratroopers involved.
